Tennessee Wesleyan University is seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Athletic Trainer. This is a full-time position within the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. The Assistant Athletic Trainer will report to the Director of Sports Medicine and assist with the coverage of varsity and junior varsity sports as assigned. Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to, the care and prevention of athletic injuries and administering first aid, post-season travel with men’s and women’s intercollegiate athletic teams, and performing tasks as assigned by the Director of Sports Medicine. Primary sport assignments include men’s soccer, baseball, and tennis.

This is a 10-month salaried position, paid over 12 months, with medical benefits offered, continuing education/dues/licensure fees covered.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree Required; Master’s Degree preferred. BOC Certification required. TN State Licensure (or eligible) required. Current certification in Emergency Cardiac Care required.
