Assistant Coach, Women’s Soccer

Cedarville University seeks an Assistant Coach for Women’s Soccer to support the Head Coach in all aspects of a competitive NCAA program. This role plays a key part in recruiting, player development, practice planning, and day-to-day program operations, while helping cultivate a Christ-centered team culture. The Assistant Coach will coach on the field, mentor student-athletes academically and spiritually, and contribute to the success and integrity of the program.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s preferred
  • Previous coaching experience required (collegiate experience preferred)
  • Collegiate playing experience preferred
  • Commitment to Cedarville University’s Doctrinal Statement, Community Covenant, and Workplace Standards
  • Strong character, work ethic, and ability to mentor student-athletes
  • Effective communicator with players, parents, coaches, and recruits
  • Knowledge of NCAA rules and compliance (DI or DII experience preferred)
  • Experience with recruiting, scouting, and player evaluation
  • Ability to plan and lead practices and instruct soccer techniques and tactics
  • Preferred coaching credentials (USC National Diploma or U.S. Soccer D or C License)
