The Athletic Director (AD) is the Chief Athletics Officer representing the athletics department. This position provides oversight, guidance, and supervision for all aspects of an intercollegiate athletic sports program in accordance with HIU’s mission and the guidelines set forth by the GSAC, NAIA, and other regulatory bodies. The ideal candidate will have a strong record of coaching success, demonstrated leadership acumen, an understanding of relevant laws and regulatory guidelines, a vibrant Christian faith, as evidenced by active involvement in a local church, and must be willing and able to affirm and embody the Christian mission and values of the university as expressed through its Restoration heritage.
