Position: Head Cross Country and Distance Track Coach

SALARY:                   Salary range Low $50’s DOQ.  Excellent benefits package.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  Duties include, but are not limited to management and development of all aspects of a collegiate Cross Country and Track program: coaching, recruiting, scouting, scheduling, budget and scholarship management, supervision of assistant/student coaches, academic monitoring, development of team policies and procedures, development and implementation of off-season conditioning, knowledge of and adherence to college, conference, and NAIA rules and regulations, as well as marketing and fund-raising for the program.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Bachelor’s degree required. Previous coaching experience at the college and/or high school level; previous playing experience helpful. An ability to work in an environment where the education, welfare, retention and graduation of student-athletes receive primary emphasis. Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate and develop a culture of excellence. Proven managerial and fiscal skills required. Must follow all rules and regulations of the College, NAIA, and Heart of America Athletic Conference.
