Baker University’s Athletics Department seeks qualified applicants for a Head Men’s and Women’s Tennis Coach. The Head Men’s and Women’s Tennis Coach will be responsible for the management, oversight, and development of the tennis programs.
Responsibilities include the recruitment and retention of student-athletes, budget management, scheduling, fundraising, reports, and the supervision and evaluation of student-athletes and assistant coaching staff. The Head Baseball Coach will comply with all Baker University, HAAC Conference, and NAIA procedures and policies. The position will perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Masters’ Degree preferred)
- Tennis collegiate coaching experience preferred
Must have and be able to demonstrate:
- Working knowledge of the NAIA
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
· Ability to supervise students
- Competent writing and communication skills
- Proficiency with computers
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
