JOB SUMMARY:

DEPARMENT: Women’s Flag Football – Athletics

QUALIFICATIONS:

A. Education:

Bachelor’s Degree required

B. Experience:

Playing or Coaching Background in the sport of Women’s Flag Football

C. Abilities:

•Demonstrated ability to build cohesive teams

•Independent decision making and ability to exercise good judgment

•Strong written and oral communication skills

•Ability to work independently and as a team member to meet deadlines

•Organizational, time management, relationship building, communication skills essential

•Willingness to work long hours.

REPORTS TO: Director of Athletics

SUPERVISES: Assistant Coaches, Graduate Assistant coaches, Student Coaches and Managers

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

A. Administer your sport in total compliance with William Penn, NAIA and HAAC regulations and guidelines.

B. Monitor and stay within the parameters of the budget. All purchases need to be approved.

C. Assist with recruiting and retention.

D. Assist with coordination of travel plans with the Transportation Director.

E. Be a positive role model for athletes and monitor discipline procedures within your sport.

F. Encourage/monitor attendance and academic performance as directed by the head coach.

G. Model professionalism and sportsmanship at all times.

H. Fulfill NAIA Champions of Character obligations.

I. Be loyal and supportive of the Staff, Faculty and Administration.

J. Follow the Chain of Command.

K. Cooperate with the Training Staff

L. All Other duties as assigned.

EVALUATION:

Performance will be the responsibility of the Head Women’s Flag Football Coach.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: At-will employee.
