Sports Information/Content Creation Assistant

This position serves as the assistant sports information director with a focus on content creation. Duties include managing/scheduling game day student/outsourced workers, taking photos/videos for promotional material. Assist the SID in the creation of posts on NCF social media pages including game day posts, player spotlights, important updates, and stories on the athletics website.

Examples of Duties

The Sports Information Assistant will assist the Sports Information Coordinator  in the managing of New College Athletics social media accounts and the athletics website. Responsibilities include taking photos/video’s at NCF athletic events, using editing software to edit and create graphics, and posting score updates, player spotlights, and other promotional material to NCF athletics social media platforms.
The Sports Information Assistant will assist the SIC in the creation of promotional material on the New College athletics website. This includes creating stories about our athletes and department, taking photos of athletes for roster pages, sharing stories and other website content on social media, and more.
Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of appropriate experience, including experience with social media platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with photo/video editing software (adobe premiere, photoshop). Writing experience.
